Measures to support accessibility

At Atelier Reed, I am committed to supporting accessibility for all. The web is for everyone. To assist with that, I’ve implemented the following measures:

  • My website has been designed with accessibility in mind: using alt text for images, taking context into account; descriptive links; proper colour contrast has been considered; and easy-to-read fonts used.

  • Multiple methods of contact and communication are available to suit different communication needs.

  • Educational resources are formatted with accessibility standards in mind.

  • Client websites are designed and built as much as possible to current accessibility standards and clients are provided information that encourages meeting accessibility standards in their businesses.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Atelier Reed is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
